Unknown Childhood Creature

I was about 13 or 14 years old when I saw it. Up until now, I still don't have any idea what this creature was. If somebody could tell please let me know.

It was summertime and it was warm even at night in Mandaluyong and I remember my family would always keep our windows open at night as we sleep. One evening My mom, sisters and I were sleeping on our banig. I remember all our feet facing the north. We had 3 huge windows. 1 on the north side and 2 west. All the windows are about 4 ft high and about 2 meters wide. All were open and curtains were secured by knots. I was the one facing the north window directly. I also remember we kept our small radio on at night because all of us really loved listening to music. The north window is connected to our neighbhor's roof, so if someone would try to enter our house through the window, you could actually just climb there and walk in.

I remember waking up because I was dreaming about getting bit in the neck by a big insect. I slowly tried to regain the clarity of my sight when I noticed a figure of a man just outside our window. When I saw it clearly I was shocked that until now, 13 years later I can still remember the details. It was squatting outside the window just a few meters away from us as if trying to get his way in, although I can say it was hesitant. It was swaying the curtain with its left arm trying to get it out of its view. It was looking on the ground as if preparing to jump inside the house. I was too scared but I didn't hesitate to show movements to let it know I was awake so as to scare it away or something. The creature actually looked at me and I felt his surprise. His face and body was covered with puss and blood and he has six horns on his forehead. The puss is almost covering his eyes and he seems to be missing a nose. He was wearing torn clothes. He looked straight into my eye and I was deeply scared I just closed my eyes and prayed. I struggled as I recited the Apostles' Creed.

I remember clearly that moments later I opened my eyes and the creature was gone. It was exactly 2 am as I recall hearing the radio announcer giving a time check.

Unforgettable High School Camp

I was a freshman when I attended the High school camping held within our school's premises. It was a night to remember. Saturday, full moon, around 12am, all the lights were turned off and the participants were gathered to the OVAL (open air) to have a campfire and held a mini cheering competition game from different teams. During the competition, one of my classmates, Laila, screamed as loud as she could and then fainted. The cheering squad stopped and we all looked at her. Before she fainted, we noticed that she was pointing her fingers on the third floor. We all looked at the third floor and we all saw a lady wearing a white long gown with a black long hair.

We panicked, others screamed to death. Then, the coordinator announced that no one should panic because maybe it was a whiteboard or something that was blocking the stairway. No one listened. Our teacher decided to turn on the light switch and the white lady was not there anymore. No whiteboard nor blackboard, nothing. It was really impossible for that image to appear.

Monday morning, back to school, everybody was talking about what happened during the campfire. Others couldn't get over it especially Laila who was the first to see the white lady. All of us were really upset. We then realized that it maybe a part of the show. My classmate-Anne and me went to the Science Department and talked to the coordinator about the white lady. She said, "We have no idea about the white lady. The purpose of the Science Camp is to welcome the freshmen, a night to stargaze and a night to enjoy, not to scare the students. Every year, we held Science Camp on this campus and it was also our first time to experience a ghost apparition. The best thing that you can do now is to get over it. Maybe the lady in white is just welcoming you".

I just wish that she didn't welcome us at all because I had a trauma and never went to Sci-Camp again.

Mothman

Mothman is described as a man sized, or larger, creature with glowing red eyes and wings of a moth. It may have eyes set in his chest. It is described as a 7-foot-tall (2.1 m) creature, with long wings and huge red eyes. It possesses an unusual shriek.

On November 15, 1966, two young couples from Point Pleasant, Roger and Linda Scarberry, and Steve and Mary Mallette, along with their young cousin, Lonnie Button, were traveling late at night in the Scarberrys’ car. They were passing the West Virginia Ordnance Works, an abandoned World War II TNT factory, about seven miles north of Point Pleasant, in the 2,500 acre (10 km²) McClintic Wildlife Management Area, when they noticed two red lights in the shadows by an old generator plant near the factory gate. They stopped the car, and reportedly discovered that the lights were the glowing red eyes of a large animal, “shaped like a man, but bigger, maybe six and a half or seven feet tall, with big win gs folded against its back,” according to Roger Scarberry. Terrified, they drove toward Route 62, where the creature supposedly chased them at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour.

A Mothman sighting was again reported on January 11, 1967, hovering over the town’s bridge, and several other times that same year. Fewer sightings of the Mothman were reported after the collapse of the town’s bridge, the Silver Bridge, when 46 people died. The Silver Bridge, so named for its aluminium paint, was an eyebar chain suspension bridge that connected the cities of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and Gallipolis, Ohio, over the Ohio River. The bridge was built in 1928, and it collapsed on December 15, 1967. Investigation of the bridge wreckage pointed to the failure of a single eye-bar in a suspension chain due to a small manufacturing flaw. There are rumors that the Mothman appears before upcoming disasters and seems to try to warn people of them. Mothman was never again seen in Point Pleasant after the demolition of the Silver Bridge.

The Mothman is a creature reported in the Charleston and Point Pleasant areas of West Virginia between November 12, 1966, and December 1967. It’s described as a winged, man-sized creature with large reflective red eyes and large moth-like wings. Sometimes it appeared to have no head, with its eyes set into its chest.

The Well to Hell

Sometime in 1989, Russian scientists in Siberia drilled a borehole some 14.5 kilometers deep into the Earth’s crust. The drill broke through into a cavity, and the scientists lowered some equipment to see what was down there. The temperature was more than one thousand degrees celsius—but the real shocker was the sound recorded by their instruments.

They only captured about seventeen horrifying seconds of audio before the microphone melted. Convinced that they’d heard the screams of the damned in Hell, many of the scientists quit the job immediately—or so at least the story goes. Those who stayed were in for an even bigger shock later that night. A plume of luminous gas burst out of the borehole, the shape of a gigantic winged demon unfolded, and the words “I have conquered” in Russian were seared into the flames. Even though today it is considered to be a hoax, there are many who believe that this incident really happened; the “Well to Hell” urban legend remains alive to this day.
